I spent nearly a decade being stuffed in to a box.

I was constantly being told by other stylists, salon owners, and beauty brands: I was too young, too loud, too creative, and too green to be successful starting my own salon.

I always wanted something different.

It makes me so happy to be able to serve my local community in Jupiter, FL in my very own Safe Space Salon!

I founded @thefullcirclesalon because of my own need for a nontoxic(products and people) space where I felt safe to express my authentic self.

I have worked in many salons, a handful of hair care and color brands, distributors, and independent education brands over the last 20 years. I have been mistreated, disrespected, called slurs, looked over for promotions, paychecks withheld, faced with homophobia, payed my own way for trainings, gossip and rumors spread about me, paid scammy commissions and fees to salon owners, lied too, manipulated, taxed in fraudulent ways by salon owners, threatened with lawsuits and so much more.

This is what propelled me to create a safe space salon for myself, my staff, and our clients. Holding space for everyone’s authentic expression including my own.

I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way in creating and holding this space! My family, friends, @heatherrosehairandmakeup, clients, and coaches have helped me grow this space as a community for community.

It makes me so happy to be able to serve my local community in Jupiter, FL in my very own Safe Space Salon!

✨I feel like this full head of high contrast foilyage came out just right!

👸🏻Stephanie wanted a fresh new color look that was low maintenance and looked more natural than human made.

🎨This color experience included a full head of sliced and woven diagonal back sections, back-combed, and isolated in foils with 20vol Bleach.

🎨Next 2 Demi toners were applied. One darker formula on the root and one lighter on the ends to add a second layer of blending. Once the toner fades in about a month the natural roots growing tend to continue the blending process.

📆A look like this can go at least 3 months before the light pieces might need a touch up.

🌈Toners can also be used about every month or two for a fun change up since toners last about 4-5 weeks in Florida conditions.🚰🏖️🌞

🕰️@thefullcirclesalon we book by the hour and are gratuity free. This service took 3 1/2 hours.

It’s like the “no makeup makeup” of hair color for me.

Whether it’s for Makeup or for hair color to create a natural look you can never go wrong with sticking to a natural palette that resembles your natural tones.

I love the challenge of emulating, natural hair color.

For this technique I used diagonal back sections on the entire head. Alternating thick woven and sliced back-combed sections. Then painted the ends of what was left out of the foils.

Formula all DAVINES:
20 vol and Progress Bleach 1:2.5 mixing ratio for a wetter bleach consistency for max saturation.

Toner View:
Roots-
equal parts 5.3 and 6.0 w/ 10 vol-

Mids to ends-
10g 8.33
20g 8.1
10g 7.0
10vol
