DANNY BENZ
Owner, Hair Artist

Born and raised in South Florida, Danny is proud to be a Florida native. Since a young age, he’s always had a creative bug; his love for craft and artistry eventually lead him to the hair industry, and Danny dove in headfirst.

Danny has been styling hair for 17 years now and is a respected expert in his industry.

Danny has been a passionate hairstylist for 17 years now and is a respected expert in his industry. His obsession with taking classes and honing his craft began early on in his career. After his first class, it became clear to him that he wanted to be an educator as well as a stylist. For him, this was the perfect integration of hair artistry and sharing the knowledge he found so valuable to strive for the highest level of artistry.

Now an educator for 14 years and working with multiple haircare manufacturers, Danny has established himself as a brand ambassador teaching in salon and beauty conventions. He has worked in every area of the business – receptionist, assistant, manager, stylist, and now salon owner. Working in all these areas of a salon has helped guide Danny's understanding of the salon business from every angle.

Education and passion have taken Danny around the world. The result: invigorated inspiration for his craft at The Full Circle Salon.

Education and passion have taken him all over the world, resulting in inspiration and fresh ideas for The Full Circle Salon, its guests and staff. To this day, Danny loves the magic that happens in the salon chair.

“Someone can walk in the salon feeling one way and walk out on cloud 9, feeling transformed. That's why I still love doing hair. In as little as a few minutes or hours, people look and feel better. You can see it, and feel it. So for me, hairstyling is the perfect blend of creativity, craft, science, and making a positive impact on my guests’ and other hairstylists’ lives.”

Q & A with Danny

Q. Why do you love this career?

A. I always loved the idea of being a day maker. Doing hair gives me the opportunity to make each client’s day a little better.

Q. What is your spirit animal and why?

A. I would say it’s a horse. It came to me in a guided meditation. They are strong, smart, and graceful. Native American Indians believe they are the bridge between earth and the spirit world.

Q. Have you read a book that’s changed your life?

A. Yes, many! The Gift of Imperfection by Brene Brown and The 4 Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz have been the most influential so far.

Q. Tea or Coffee?

A. Both at different times. ☺

Q. What is your most memorable travel experience?

A. Probably staying in Positano for a friend’s wedding. Some of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. We stayed higher up in the cliffs near the Path of the Gods. It felt like looking down from heaven.

HEATHER ROSE
Manager, Hair
and Makeup Artist

Heather’s passion for being a hairstylist stems from her want to help people, her love for art, and her love for learning.

Heather started doing hair as a kid. Her girlfriends would come to her house in the morning before school to have her straighten their hair (it was the early 2000’s everyone was doing it). And through college where everyone needed to have highlights or a funky-colored streak in their hair. After studying an array of things, Heather finally went to hair school and there was no turning back.

All those studies and past jobs helped her in her career to become a Jane of all trades. From massage therapy school, art school for design and photography to managing a bar and helping design websites for friends' businesses. Heather’s wide range of experiences help her communicate with her clients, give her a great understanding of what clients need, and help her provide stelar support to The Full Circle Salon as the salon’s Manager.

Heather’s favorite parts about being a hairstylist is making people feel fantastic and the opportunity to always be learning and growing. She loves to help the beauty you hold within shine out.

Q&A with Heather

Q. Why do you love this career?

A. I strangely enough love change. Being stagnant is hard for me, so I love that I have a new creative project every day.

Q. What is your spirit animal and why?

A. Oh, the spirit animal. I would have to say a dolphin. They’re incredibly intelligent, sensual, and like to have a great time.

Q. Have you read a book that’s changed your life?

A. It changes all the time, but currently Nano: Technology of Mind Over Matter by Rav Berg.

Q. Coffee or tea?

A. Technically neither right now. I’m into this adaptogenic herbal drink. It’s pretty great.

Q. What is your most memorable travel experience?

A. Road tripping from California to Florida. A huge portion of it was by myself. If you ever really want to get to know yourself and your limits, drive across the country on your own at 19. It was quite an experience.
